Questions....

Hey guys, I have two questions...
1) I heard that, “according to the dc laws”, none of the buildings in dc can not be taller than monument?

2) Because of the fact that the number “13” is known as an unlucky number, it does not even exist in some elevators? In other words, it follows like 11, 12, 14, 15…

Is that really true? I knew that it is known as an unlucky number but I did not know that people were taking that serious…

As for 2) i have seen this before... I was taking an elevator in San Francisco and noticed there wasnt a 13th floor. I just chalked it up to misnumbering. However, in the lobby the bellhop informed me, "we dont have that numbered floor." HE WOULDN'T even say 13...

In Jakarta, Indonesia, most of the high-rise buildings do not have the 13th floor. Also on hotels, condominiums, apartments, and some areas of housing, number 13 is rarely seen as a room number or address.
